Floating “Moon” Dresser

This “dresser” was a proof of concept for me. My daughter, Luna, invaded her regular dresser daily. It didn’t matter what type of child lock we would put on it, she could get past it. To counter this, placing a dresser out of reach seemed to be the best approach, hence “Moon Dresser”. While this isn’t a traditional dresser in the sense of having drawers and is actually more like a cabinet, it’s housing children’s clothes so I am calling it a dresser. In the future I hope to make another option that does utilize drawers and can be mounted slightly lower for ease of access.

The dresser is made from birch plywood and utilizes Euro style hinges for the doors which are all faceless, full overlay doors. The inside houses adjustable shelves so that any configuration can be made based on seasonal clothes storage needs.
