TV Accent Wall

This pine shiplap wall provided not only a wonderful backdrop to a new TV but also a mounting location that allowed it to be centered to the mantle without having to drive massive anchors into the wall. The pine was stained a lovely reddish brown color that complimented the floor and trim throughout the room. Outer trim was mitered and the bottom shiplap board was scribed to the contour of the mantle top to provide a gapless look between the transition point.
